In just a few years, London Collections: Men - the fourth fashion week on the seasonal menswear collections circuit - has grown to become an important platform for designers both big and emerging. The forthcoming fall 2016 collections will be shown, for the most part, under the one roof and over two floors at Victoria House, London, with a press and buying hub at 180 Strand. While the full schedule is to be announced early next month, the British Fashion Council overnight confirmed shows by several big-name brands, including Alexander McQueen, Burberry and, for the first time staging a menswear runway show, Tom Ford.
Moschino and Pringle of Scotland return again to the schedule, while tailoring brands Dunhill, Gieves & Hawkes, Hardy Amies, Paul Smith and Richard James will all present new collections. Recent award winners and nominees, J.W. Anderson and E. Tautz, will both host runway shows, while the BFC NEWGEN Men initiative will host shows by emerging talents Agi & Sam (the UK finalist for the International Woolmark Prize), Bobby Abley, Craig Green, Liam Hodges, Nasir Mazhar, Alex Mullins, Cottweiler and Pieter. Manuscript will be on the ground with up-to-the-minute coverage of the shows come January. See our coverage from the spring 2016 collections.
