For the longest time, men’s grooming has been relegated to somewhat of a department store backwater, at least in Australia, anyhow. Thankfully, as men’s appreciation of and investment in their appearance grows, so too does the availability of products and services, with the likes of Face of Man, David Jones and Harrolds offering an extensive range of skincare, shaving products and fragrances. Add to that list Men’s Biz, an online grooming store that, as of this month, has opened a brick-and-mortar store in Sydney’s Strand Arcade. Offering hot towel shaves and haircuts alongside products by Acqua di Parma, Amouage, Baxter of California, Gentleman’s Brand Co, Omega and Simpsons. With Strand Hatters, Joseph’s Shoes, Jac+Jack and The Suit Shop all located in the Strand Arcade, it’s becoming a destination for boutique men’s shopping.
