Dutch conceptual artist duo Lernert and Sander has proved itself a rather fitting match for simplistic Swedish brand Cos with the creation of a mesmerising short film, Around Cos. Innovatively showcasing the brand’s clean-lined autumn/winter 2015 collection of largely monochromatic, easy-to-wear pieces, Lernert and Sander fitted Go-Pro cameras to the inside of hula-hoops in order to bring a certain controlled playfulness to the moving image. The two models on set were directed with the help of world champion hula-hoop artist Marawa and captured within a purpose-build circular studio of soft grey tones. “Lernert and Sander never fail to bring warmth and a playful component to their work, and with Around Cos they have enabled us to present the Cos world through these elements once again,” said Karin Gustafsson, the brand’s head of womenswear design.
