There’s no denying the increasing popularity of men’s barbering over the past decade. Perhaps it’s the Mad Men effect that have seen men around the world transform their messy, semi-mohawked manes into classic quiffs with impeccably blended edges, but it stands to reason that with the shift in style new celebrities have emerged. In the world of barbering, that comes in the form of Leen and Bertus, better known as the Schorem Barbers of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Boasting a cult international following, the Schorem Barbers are known for classic cuts, pompadours, flattops, contours and hot towel shaves, with their institution frequented by greasers, rockers, bikers, ruffians and other fine gentleman from every echelon of society. This September, the Schorem Barbers are heading Down Under for a series of special events, offering the chance to meet the hair masters and to learn from the best.
