SEE: LOUIS VUITTON OBJETS NOMADES

As part of Salone del Mobile in Milan, Louis Vuitton showcases the art of travel with nine designers.

As part of design fair Salone del Mobile held last week in Milan, French luxury goods house Louis Vuitton presented a unique exhibition of travel-inspired objects from nine of world’s best - both established and emerging - designers. Expertly showcasing Louis Vuitton’s ongoing focus on the art of travel (the house began, of course, as a manufacturer of luggage trunks), Objets Nomades, as the exhibition was titled, demonstrated its commitment to quality materials and manufacturing, as well as a desire to continually evolve. The designers involved are Atelier Oi, Barber & Osgerby, Nendo, Patricia Urquiola, Campana Brothers, Gwenael Nicolas, Raw Edges, Damien Langlois-Meurinne and Maarten Baas, with highlights featured in the above gallery.
