A VIVID FESTIVAL

The Sydney Opera House announces the 2015 line-up for the Vivid Live sound and light festival.

There’s much to look forward to at this year’s Vivid LIVE. The annual festival, originally established as a city-wide light show and now largely situated in and around the Sydney Opera House as a live music program (and, of course, the hugely popular projections on the House’s sails), runs from late May to early June with tickets going on sale from this Friday. Already revealed as a headline act is Morrissey, the popularity of whom requires ballot-type ticket sales, along with Sufjan Stevens and Daniel Johns, the latter presenting material from his soon-to-be-released solo album. But other highlights include two night concert celebrating a decade of local music outfit Future Classic with its acts including Flight Facilities, Flume, Touch Sensitive and Hayden James; Mad Racket featuring the outstanding Matthew Herbert; The Preatures; Royal Headache; Zootie and Dress Up Attack.
