COOL & CLEAN

Australian label Saba returns to its roots for winter, proving the importance of its place in the market.

Rather than diluting its brand message as a tactic to combat the increasing number of international retailers entering the market - H&M, Uniqlo and Topshop among them - Australian brand Saba has returned to and capitalised on its original approach: of offering high quality, easy-to-wear pieces that slip effortlessly into your wardrobe. As evidenced by its autumn/winter 2015 collection - as seen above, starring Jack Vanderhart - the collection comprises clean, modern shapes crafted from premium materials like Australian merino wool, bonded leather, cashmere and Peruvian cotton. Signature to the range is its range of tailoring, with suits cut from a stretch wool for a sportier take on the classic, slim-cut style. And in a nod to the Australian climate, the suits are unlined with lightweight, while trousers and jackets are afforded extra fabric at hemlines to allow for alterations.
