You would be right in thinking that there’s been a lot of mention of Nick Wooster on our website lately, not to mention a profile in our new issue, on newsstands today. But the New York-based men’s fashion consultant is irrepressible, his fingers regularly in many pies, so to speak, and whatever he touches, it seems, turns to sartorial gold. Mr Wooster’s latest project is the creation of a capsule collection of tailoring for Italian fashion house Lardini, a manufacturer best known for its suiting for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino. While expertly made from high quality fabrics like wool and cotton, these pieces are undeniably demonstrative of Mr Wooster’s personal style: striped shirting, cropped trousers, pleat-front, knee-length shorts and seersucker blazers. The collection is now available from online menswear destination Mr Porter, with more pieces to arrive throughout the season ahead.
