ARMANI’S NEW FACE

American model Jason Morgan has been selected by Giorgio Armani to represent twenty years of its iconic scent.

If Giorgio Armani’s iconic, twenty-year old fragrance Acqua di Gio is meant to represent masculinity, then its new face, model Jason Morgan, is rather perfectly cast. With the campaign to be released later this year in celebration of the two decade anniversary, Mr Morgan has been photographed by Matthew Brookes and was personally selected by the brand’s namesake founder, Mr Armani. Previous campaigns for the fragrance have featured Larry Scott (by Herb Ritts), Lars Burmeister (by Peter Lindbergh) and, most recently, Simon Nessman (by Bruce Weber). A new iteration of the fragrance will be released in Australia in time for Father’s Day.
